Tenmaku no Jaadugar

Honestly, this was better than what i expected. I really loved how this anime portrayed Persian, Muslim and mongol cultures, the mangaka for jaadugar definitely put a great effort in her research and it’s really a breath of fresh air when a piece of media actually takes effort in portraying cultures very well instead of relying on racist and stereotypical tropes. I also really liked that how the show actually shows us the POV of the mongol empire during their conquests instead of portraying as the ruthless and monstrous force that would decimated anything in their way. Overall, it’s a pretty good anime, I recommend

I just finished watching this and it’s pretty solid but i obviously don’t prefer it over the movie. (Still better than the 2017 live action tho)
Honestly, this adaptation is obviously not the same as the movie but I the differences were really interesting imo. My expectations were that this is gonna have the same bleak and gritty that mamoru oshii’s films were but this was really eccentric and the world building was really vibrant and i really liked how artstyle is pretty close to the aesthetics of the manga. The difference between character dynamics in this and the 1995 movie were also pretty interesting. This ... Aug 3, 2026
the fact that this film is one of the reasons madhouse (the same studio who animated death note, all of satoshi kon's filmography, opm season 1, hunter x hunter, monster, etc.) almost went bankrupt is so fascinating to me for some reason. seems that people in 2009 didn't appreciate good movies i guess.
the best way to describe Redline imo is it's basically the anime version of speed racer, both have hyper-vibrant visual style, they share similar themes and both were major flops upon release before becoming cult classics today. one thing that i loved very much about this film is the animation and artstyle, Holy shit, ... i wanted to watched this movie before i start with the new series that's animated by science saru that just came out this tuesday and safe to say, this one is obviously BETTER than that fuckass live action from 2017 that shouldn't have even happened btw. anyway, the animation in was great, from the action sequence, the city, the character designs, etc. everything in this movie is Meticulously crafted and to be honest, i'm such a sucker for 90's anime in general, especially the artstyle. the story was really good in my opinion, it was really philosophical annd it handles its themse very well and the

i've only watched this out of pure curiosity and well, safe to say.....i fucking enjoyed this show. definitely one of the best animes of the year. i really like how this show was heavily inspired by the warring states period (sengoku era) that occured in japan between the 15th and 16th century but with a apocalyptic/near futuristic setting. the story was great, the way it handles political themes like propaganda, agricultural policies, social inequality, etc. was portrayed in a great way but it requires some knowledge to politics, which can make the pacing a bit slow, especially if you're watching expecting action scenes like every

honestly i only watch this out of pure curiosity, and to be honest i really enjoyed it. the animation and artsyle were pretty good, especially the action sequences and the character designs were handled very well. the world building was also pretty good and the characters were really interesting imo, especially the main character Xylo. my main issue with this anime is the story, don't get me wrong it was good imo and it kept me hooked to the show, but it just left me wanting more, especially because of the ending and if they make another season of this show, i might end up

CSM is the first manga i've read and honestly, i really loved it. part one was absolutely fantastic, great characters like denji, reze, makima, aki, power, etc. arcs like the bomb devil arc, the IAA, and the control devil arc were all peak. as for part two, even though it was lacklustre and repititive compared to part one, it still had its moments and part two in general is just overhated imo. when it comes to the ending, i have mixed feelings about it honestly. it wasn't a bad ending imo, but it just didn't feel satisfying. but well, it is what it is.

honestly, i only watched this out of pure curiosity, but this film was WAY better than what i was expecting.
the animation was really beautiful, Han Ji-won's direction was great, i loved how colorful this film was and i also loved how it had that anime aesthetic to it. the story was pretty good, nan young and jay's relationship isn't just a love story; but a relfection of our dreams, sacrifices and the strength of human connection. definitely one of the best animated films of 2025. kinda sucks that this and chainsaw man: reze arc didn't nominated because people in the academy are just a bunch ... Honestly, I knew this film was gonna be great, but it somehow managed to blow my expectations even more.
The animation in Akira is genuinely one of the best I’ve seen, I really love 80’s/90’s anime aesthetic. from the explosions, the bike scenes, the gun shots, Neo Tokyo, etc. everything was amazing, fluid and meticulously crafted, and the fact that this film is almost entirely HAND-DRAWN is Genuinely impressive. The story was great, I really loved how it offers deep social commentary on post-war trauma (like the nuclear bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki), governmental distrust, unchecked technological advancement, and societal breakdown. The characters were well written and ... Dec 31, 2025
My last film of the year. Honestly, this surpassed my expectations. I really loved the artstyle in this film, it was very good. The animation was also very good, I really liked how they used rotoscoping, especially in the running sequences, it was incredibly realistic and the motion was very detailed and with the dynamic cinematography, it created a unique, fluid, and immersive experience contrasting gritty realism with expressive anime flair.
The story was pretty good, it kinda reminded me of the themes in ping pong the animation, such as Rivalry & Friendship, Finding Purpose, and the Psychology of Competition. The characters were also pretty good. Well, ... |
