This manhwa is still in its early stages, with only a few chapters released so far, but its intent is already clear — and, thankfully, it’s not a bad one.
The story takes place in a medieval setting marked by brutality misery, and an atmosphere reminiscent of a true dark age, not far removed from real historical cruelty. This backdrop is combined with familiar fantasy elements and a touch of isekai. It doesn’t try to reinvent the genre but it also doesn’t undermine the world it presents.

One notable aspect is the frequent use of exaggerated humor — forced facial expressions and almost cartoonish comedic moments — which abruptly break the otherwise heavy tone. Sometimes it works, sometimes it feels excessive. Still, it helps distinguish the series from manhwas that take their own brutality too seriously, and at least for me, it doesn’t become tiring.
With around 15 chapters read, the overall impression is positive. This is not a revolutionary work, nor does it aim to be one. But it is honest, has a sense of identity, and shows potential to grow if it chooses to further develop its world and the consequences within it.
I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you enjoy dark fantasy stories that prioritize the journey and impactful moments over traditional power progression. It’s too early for definitive conclusions — and that’s precisely why it’s worth keeping an eye on the upcoming chapters.
