I like the story.
Don't get me wrong though, it's DEFINITELY not for everyone. Both MC and ML are flawed characters who does flawed things based on a flawed understanding of the issue and each other. The result is a rollercoaster ride for much of the story, with parts that can feel VERY uncomfortable and VERY boundaries-ignoring. If people simplified the ML as a red flag, I can totally understand.
Also, the leans way more towards the romance, particularly the bickering and bantering between the MC and ML. If you want to read more MMORPG stories then this might not fully sate your itch...but the MMORPG side

The strongest elements are definitely the two main characters. From the very start, they are very vivid; Seyeong, the MC, and Heejae, the ML, are two flawed and wounded characters, and much of the story is spent to let them clash and connect with each other.
Their dynamics are very rollercoaster, especially at the very beginning. Both of them has their own hilarious moments, as well as moments where I can't help but think "oh boy they are messed up in the head." And the problematic aspects of both characters feel annoyingly, aggravatingly real.
Seyeong, the MC, is not just your garden variant tsundere. His prickliness are treated rather seriously, hiding a legitimate cocktail of anger and trust issue that always made him assume the worst of others and reacting explosively.
Heejae... I actually must give a shoutout to Heejae in particular because the narrative is REALLY careful in portraying his behavior. Like he's a crazy, cocky asshole, that much is true, and he also creeps and crosses MC's boundaries repeatedly, that's also true, and yet the story is very careful in not making him look TOO yandere or TOO bully. Like I know Heejae is not a particularly nice or SANE person but I also can't put him with all the other abusive, boundary-breaking semes out there. This level of care is appreciated.
I think the back and forth between Heejae and Seyeong helps ground each other. Basically, most of their initial dynamics are VERY unhealthy to each other, and their actions serve as very good excuses for them to keep their guards up (in case of Seyeong) or escalate (in case of Heejae).
And yet, considering the amount of bickering and bantering... I'm a bit surprised that only a few of them feel icky. Even more surprised that the story not only acknowledges that but also punishes the two MCs for their misdeeds. The rest are just...fun. For me, at least.
Okay that's a bit of a lie, there's a fair amount of annoyance in the early parts. Particularly moments where both MC and ML have their heads deep in the sand, and miscommunication are abound. Moments where they could have communicate but instead they react and the problem gets worse and worse. That's annoying.
But then the story develops, and much to my surprise the story actually takes time giving them a decent amount of depth and development.
This is where I applaud the plot's way of integrating the MMORPG side of the story. While it's pretty less detailed or thorough than other stories of this genre, the MMORPG is incorporated nicely to both characters' dynamics. The game doesn't only serve as a playground for both characters to bicker and banter and tease around; changes in the game actively influence their RL relationship and vice versa.
And once the romance starts properly, the story knows which heartstrings to tug and which deep-seated issues to address. Both Seyeong and Heejae are visibly growing and healing, and while they still banter and bicker, the difference is palpable.
I also like the 'main villain', so to speak. She has VERY good reason to crash out, no thanks to Heejae, and I do wish that we get to see her plotline being resolved more properly than just a passing mentioned we got in the manhwa.
I must admit I still want more. I want more of them being in love and being vulnerable around each other. I want the story to explore and address more of Seyoung and Heejae's past. I want the story to integrate their online friends better.
But what I'm getting is already more than what I got from similar stories. And I love it.
