Manga: The Makeup Remover
Both have as their central theme the passion for the art of makeup. In both there is an attractive blond male character, already started in the world of fashion, passionate about make up who for one reason or another have as a model a student who no one would have ever imagined as a model. In Bless she is an introvert tall girl with a face dotted with freckles, in The Makeup Remover she is a slightly scruffy university student who has never cared much about taking care of her physical appearance. Both the male leads are good with makeup and are passionate about pursuing it, and their work was described as magic that will boost confidence by both the female leads. Both mangas give genuine makeup tips, although Bless is more descriptive and in more details.
