Synopsis

Shy and introverted, Tadokoro passes her free time in class drawing instead of hanging out with her classmates. But even when her classmates approach her, it's only to make fun of her drawings and appearance. In stark contrast, Nikaido is well-liked among her peers as she has both beauty and smarts. And while everyone makes fun of Tadokoro, Nikaido on the other hand, is totally infatuated with her. Just one look at one of Tadokoro's drawings and Nikaido fell in love with the art and eventually, the artist herself. When Tadokoro offers to draw Nikaido a portrait, Nikaido becomes ecstatic as this maybe her chance to get closer with the girl she has been obsessing over!

Probable one of the best yuri/GL manga out there, short but good, the designs are amazing love the style. The story is simple but very good.

Just be aware, this manga doesnt have a proper ending, just finish without a "conclusion". Its not bad since its mostly slice of life but it would've been nice to see where the story ended. There are like 4 chapters you can find with an "after story" but its really not enough. If you can accept that this is a really good story to read.

Wholesome, fluffy, cute, funny moments. This manga has it all. Following two girls, a gloomy girl (Tadokoro) who draws manga, and a beautiful girl who's smart and can do it all (Nikaido Sakurako), the story that unravels is super wholesome and has a bunch of cute, funny and really wholesome moments between the two girls. This manga became my comfort read whenever I've felt down or sad, it always makes me smile and laugh. To avoid yapping about it the whole time (and not spoil anything), I'll talk about what I rate each parts of this manga (story, art, characters, etc.):

Story - Synopsis says it ... all, a simple but wholesome story about 2 high school girls. The webcomic ending is what made this a 10/10 for me. (Score: 8.5/10).

Art - Beautifully drawn, some *amazing*/*great* art (panels), particularly well done in the serialized version. It stays very consistent without diverging from its art style whatsoever throughout it. The webcomic (which continues the Serialized version after chapter 110 where the serialization ends [most translations/scanlations of the serialized version stop at around 80-90 due to slowed translations]) is a bit more simpler with art but its consistency doesn't change in its own version. (Score: 9.5).

Characters - Tadokoro: Is shy/a loner at the start of the story, but opens up more as the story progresses and her relationship develops with Nikaido; she has some great drawing skills too of course. Nikaido: A pretty and protective badass and a bit of a yandere, but one who's understanding and does everything she can to help Tadokoro, including protecting her with her (minor spoilers) martial art skills against anyone who intends to harm her (she's very protective but in a wholesome and cool/sick way when she does). Overall, I love both of them equally (tho Nikaido gets points for being cool), and they're both great to watch as their relationship and wholesome interactions develop and are shown on display. (Score: 9.0).

Comedy - The interactions and expressions that come from these two (particularly Nikaido) have me either smiling the whole time or laughing a lot, but the entire thing was very wholesome which was the main impact/thing I got from this that I love a lot about it. Very funny comedic moments. (Score: 8.8).

Overall score: 9.8/10

Hopefully this review helps! (And make sure to read the webcomic for the best ending that I could say ties up an MC pair's relationship perfectly; there's also an epilogue called "inko-sensei" for a little bit more story of their adult life [I haven't read it but plan to soon]) (Edit: read the aforementioned "inko-sensei", which has 5-6 more chapters to release, and it's really nice).

Its.... really good. Chapters are short but pace is great regardless. You will definetly leave fulfilled after this yuri experience. This manga wont leave you hanging trust me, you get everything except drama.
Story is wholesome and the artstyle is great. For chapters this short you obviously wont get to see sidestories and the plot fully focuses on the main couple. I found no problems with that since the main couple is a bliss.
If you are searching for drama this is probably not it for you but in my opinion you should still try it. This is a great manga to read inbetween long manga ...
