Hello yes I have a few recommendations on how to find things to read! My apologies for the incoming novel, this is actually something I really like talking about lol.

One way is absolutely following social media accounts of others who have tastes comparable to my own and getting direct recommendations from friends, and joining clubs and groups and forums with like minded individuals. Some of the ways I find BL is browsing releases from publishers I like on sites like the one we're on right now or on chil chil. Example- one of your top ten was published in be boy in 2008 so I would look at what else was in that magazine around the same year. You've got Sleeping Dead in your top ten too so check out what else is in Canna, I love just about everything published in Canna that I've been able to get my hands on it's probably my favorite manga magazine. This strategy works not just with the original publication but with English publishers or even with Scanlation groups too. I always like whatever Kuma/Denpa licenses. And maybe this will sound bad and I am an advocate for Buying as much manga as you can afford, but a certain piracy site has some really good curated lists that I'll utilize if I'm looking for certain content. Depending on my mood a list with a title like "Adult men doing reasonable things to each other" or " Scary/Gloomy Guys x Lil Cuties/Popular 《Opposite Couples List》" The interest stacks on myanimelist can be helpful but I find they're also often kind of basic and it will be forty titles that I've already read and were the obvious choices for the stack when I'm really past the obvious and need more titles to choose from.


The tags on chil chil is another great place to look and does not require speaking japanese to navigate the site thanks to my twitter famous friend Wendy you can copy the kanji/kana for these tags and paste them into chil chil to find titles that suit your tastes https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fK1YI89YEqtDCYFUTbCi9tk_25YhykLwJ2AlTG4y5rI/edit?usp=sharing Sometimes you will run into something that looks good and you can't read it in English yet using this method, so it's probably more ideal for language learners, but it's also worked for me!!


BL is part of my bedtime routine, I typically read about one volume before bed every night. There's a catharsis with BL manga. I like knowing that these two people will consummate their love in six chapters. Some nights I'm picky and will have a Theme or a Mood I want to pursue (and some nights I want some brainless smut and turn to lezhin lmfao) and some nights I can really just grab anything off my bookshelf or open whatever is on the front page of any site where BL can be read either legally or illegally. I often buy BL volumes without knowing what I'm buying, especially when I can find vintage ones at anime cons for cheap. I'm also very fortunate to live in a city and have a comic book store that I have a good relationship with, I go in to pick up my preorders and the store owner will say "I also set this aside for you, Claire, it wasn't on your list but it seems like one you'd want." And usually she's right lol only a couple times I've said "ehhh not this one but thank you". But I know that's something that I'm really fortunate to have is an in person IRL community.
