'Pretty Rhythm' Series to Receive First Anime Film to Air Spring 2014

An announcement made at the Pretty Rhythm Christmas Prism Stage event reveals that the Pretty Rhythm series will be receiving its first anime film.

The film is scheduled to air Spring 2014 and will be made using scenes from all three of the TV anime series.

The third installment of the series, Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, began April 2013 and is currently still airing. The "new" TV series will be aired on Spring 2014 featuring a new idol that will learn from sempai idols, who are from the past series, which feature scenes from past series.

I dunno thought, indeed the animation quality really drop.
I think the first season were actually best one out there, but they do have really good song.
Prism Show is connect through dimension so why not stick all three season together. Haha, this show is mostly aim for teenagers girl.

I was like this is My first guilty pleasure , but then the weird jumps and loud secret moves butchered the whole thing , though the singing was surprisingly good.

Woooow! I actually only watched a little bit of the first series...and i am watching Rainbow Live.
I never thought it would have a movie. Even though Aikatsu is better.

This is certainly something that I look forward to, but I still like Aikatsu! more. Too bad I don't think that I have the time to watch the two previous seasons.

Technically it is still a sequel, set four years after the second series. The characters are brand new, though.

That was really an interesting clip. At least I would say that it is better than Aikatsu that I'm watching. Thanks for the video scytheavatar. It did spark some interest in me to watch the anime.

Edit: Wait...why do they have on ice skates? How do you ride a skateboard with ice skates? So many questions, too few answers.

Edit 2: I'm adding this video to my profile, it's too perfect. I've watched it like 3 times now. I actually want to watch this series now if it's like this.

Animation was somehow on the level of Aikatsu at first.

What I would call atrocious were those "shop segments" but than, for once series doesn't hide what it's about - and looking at 3 seasons plus movie, they must be doing it right.
