| Yahya is not necessarily wrong. Legoshi must think hard about future with Haru. Topic is very relevant, especially if you're a mixed child in homogenous country like Japan for instance. You're guaranteed to attract attention, likely to be bullied and discriminated. In Beastars world, there's also identity problems that can mess with your head. Just like with Melon example this episode, you'd be questioning who you are, a carnivore or herbivore. Basically, Legoshi must fully understand that his kid(s) will most certainly have a HARD time, and it's possible kids may even blame parents for the decision to have a mixed family. |

| The mixed blood is something that makes this world less interesting. Sure as long they not reproduce themselves its not a big deal but Haru and Legoshi should know they cannot have a child without knowning their kid is going to have blood from two different species making their child's life most likely miserable just like Legoshi's mother. The series acts like its something they shouldn't be worried about. The series is better when they are just predators vs prey rather than trying to be more convoluted just mixed species topics, it raises more questions of why their world isn't full of mixed blood people in the first place since the news claim is not something recent. |
