I mean how did people know that she was / will be when she only had 10 minutes of screentime and died afterwards like some sacrificial lamb which all happened in the first episode? Lol. A lot of people have the ability of foresight I sometimes wish I had one. |

Some of the people here are ranting with a reason. I saw few of the posts asking what is different about Kanade, besides yours. Didn't they see a first episode? People took a liking of her because of her ''senpai''-like attitude and strong personality that was shown on a few occasions. I'll give you two examples. First was where she gave advice to Tsubasa before the concert and second is where jumps to help those people despite Tsubasa's objection that they shouldn't as they didn't hear anything from command. Plus her design was downright beautiful and I would take her instead of overused happy person like Hibiki. But of course, Hibiki will not stay like this. I can already see her going through all sorts of drama in the future and will grow up to some extend. But that would mean something to me if I cared about her kind in the first place. So yeah, now that Kanade is down, Tsubasa is the only thing I'm interested in seeing, unless she kicks a bucket in a few episodes as well. |

As you can see I just couldn't feel attached to a character that was introduced and was killed off in the same episode appearing only for 10 minutes. Unlike Kamina in TTGL, I see Kanade's death more as a plot device rather than an emotionally striking event. But maybe that's because of the script, since it's all over the place. |

| I'm having trouble caring about ANY of the characters besides Miku. Seriously. Kanade died in the first 5-10 minutes of episode 1. No time to get attached. And we already know Hibiki is going to die (revealing this in episode 1 was a stupid choice on the studio's part, in my opinion) so I'm pretty much checked out in trying to care about her or her growth knowing that she's just gonna die in the end. I'm not saying that character growth is pointless when death is involved. I'm saying that it'll hurt less when she dies if I don't care. |

Also losing the red haired girl to have this silly girl in her place as protagonist isn't a good thing. We have seen her type all too many times. Monad said: Misunderstanding, I do loads of analyze but the results of my finding were of the anime being 90s style for its ecchi/setups and I have someone else who agrees with me so I am not alone to think that. I am also right being less provocative than if it would have nipples. That's all really, the 90s were good for that and as a result there was more ecchi and now less with more shitty problems from complaints. So for them to develop a character the character must always be a complete naive noob with child behavior? Maybe they just lack talent then. Humans can constantly learn and develop through their lives, even a more assertive character like Kanade could have places to grow and actually it seems more impressive when a feature of such character grows than always having this white paper noobs that just need to grow everywhere because they are half idiots. Basically it shows the lack of talent the creators have since they take the easy root by having such characters develop that have nowhere to go BUT develop since any lower they will be intolerable. They lack the ability to take a character with a more mature personality and self-awareness and give him even new dimensions so they have to put us threw a tone of episodes basically watching an idiot. Well if that's the case then why is it exactly a better choice to have character growth and not just have an established character that doesn't need to grow? At least we avoid the painful stupidity. Character growth isn't the epitome of having a good story. Is not that i hate the idea of having a character with no experience in something and see such a character grow but why does even the personality of such character has to be so naive, silly and unrealistic? |

On the other hand to have teenagers associate with them. Finally most likely because it shows their innocence in a certain way. That being dragged into something they did not want. Hibiki never wanted this therefore she never understood any of it. That means she is naive and silly in all this. I will leave at that. |
| I still dont find this anime so awesome as many people said on the 1st ep discussion. Songs are nice, but it looks dam weird and not nice when they sing in middle of a fight. 3/5 gonna keep watching thought |

I'd probably like her a lot if that incident didn't happen. Maybe my opinion will change as the show goes on meh. Songs are still awesome and I just can't wait for the soundtracks to come out. | I thought Tsubasa was just a little butthurt about seeing her partner's powers used by someone else. But this is beyond butthurt. I'm starting to think she wants to chop Hibiki up into little pieces. I'm still not very excited about the show so far, and the singing while doing battle is still more weird than awesome to me at the moment, but I will persevere.  |

| I'm not sure where that episode came out of. That was pretty disappointing considering the first episode left such a good impression! I'm a little displeased. I think the setup was great, but the get-go was a failure. I've seen this type of scenario a MILLION times before. But, with way better stories to back it up. And less useless character lines that don't make sense. Ugh, oh well. Looking forward to the next! |

| A step up from the previous episode, mainly because of Tsubasa, though Hibiki's reactions were pretty entertaining. Her relationship with Miku had some yuri undertones, I wonder how it will affect the story. 4/5. |

| Something tells me that this show is gonna get dark...maybe because Hibiki is a little too happy-go-lucky. I liked both the OP and the ED, and the transformation scene wasn't bad. I can't decide if the music and singing -> power thing is cool or stupid, but either way I like it! xD |

| Got to feel a bit sympathetic for Tsubasa there. The sudden arrival of someone else with the relic that her friend and companion once used is always going to bring back painful memories. Hibiki doesn't seem to understand this, though, and keeps pushing towards the person who is basically her idol, which just makes the situation worse. |

I'm watching the OP in BD, and it does remind me of Gundam Seed/Destiny/Macross Frontier at times XD ED looks very disturbing as hell though :O Crazy fast paced song, with naked bodies being shown in different angles. There's lots of Yuri themes here. Won't be surprised if they "explore" it more as we go forward :P Tsubasa strong as ever!! Still can't believed Hibiki is voiced by Yuuki Aoi. She really sounds different here :O Can't wait for the next episode! |

I wasn't expecting her to straight-up turn a sword on her at the end though. Things are about to get crazy. I can tell they're dumping all the animation budget in the fight scenes, and it works for me. They look really cool. |
