| The author clearly tried to give Ruby something resembling a character, and tbf, parts of it almost worked.. almost. None of it however, led to anything even remotely meaningful in the end. So yep, we’ll have to live with this, “iT iS fOr rEVengE”, shtick, like we did with Aqua.. or more like still doing. As for the whole AD subplot… it exists. That’s about the nicest thing to write about it. Didn’t care one bit about his problems, or about that unrealistic task of assembling an entire lineup of bombshells. I’d rather have more of Akane on screen, but yeah knowing the kind of content we’ll be covering this season, it’s going to be a long dry run. |
By taking a different approach than usual, Ruby steadily improves her position in the internet TV show "Dig Deep! One Chance." However, behind the scenes, it's non other than our Ichigo, the former president of Ichigo-Pro, has a significant influence. Aqua walking Akane to her home and leaving during the rain was cute (especially with akane's reaction)  I can't decide on for whom I should ship for 😭 Aqua X Akane or Aqua X Arima!! (Tell me your thoughts.) The OP & ED Songs and it's visuals are just so fantastic (I take back what I said back in previous episode thread about it not being par with previous the seasons) Looking forward to watch the next episode.... TOKYO DOME ONCE AGAIN!!!!  |

| Good Episode. First of all Ruby, she is really moving hard forward with the revenge plan. Beyond obsessed. Shes becoming more manipulative by the second & tbh its not looking good, the problem is she isnt that smart which makes her more dangerous cause she doesnt care what damage she might cause in her wake in achieving her goal. Also good to see ichigo after a while. Bro please go back and help your absoloute gorgeous of a wife and a badass woman. I know you grieving for ai but you fumbled bad. We had a little aqua and akane moment which was nice. I am just gonna be honest Akane deserves better and her being happy with just the basics that aqua does for her & on top of that especially knowing what he feels for kana strongly, i feel bad for her. Like cmon this girl needs more care & love. The little yandere Akane at the end was adorbs. The assistant Director yoshizumi is the most i felt bad for this episode. Like bro is going through an ordeal, hes literally being driven like a slave and made to do everything from Managerial work to Janitor work? Work culture is this bad out here in the entertainment industry, it appalls me. Then having ruby manipulating him here & there wasnt bad enough, he has the most shittiest boss ever, the director is an A grade asshole who basically does the bare minimum and is ungrateful for the work yoshizumi does. Put him in more distress at the end and ruining his effort even further at the end. Good thing yoshizumi has a caring sister who helped him out. Now with the cosplay event, lets see what shenaningans ruby's gonna act out on. We finally get the Opening and Ending Sequence. Opening song was allright tbh and didnt hit that hard like the first two seasons opening did. The visuals were amazing tho, the girls were chefs kiss . The ED on the other hand i enjoyed more, it was more catchy and especially with Ruby & aqua with their dance and their backstory being fleshed out with different scenes blending into the mix. Good stuff. PS. Also can we talk how gorgeous Miyako looks in the OP? god damn she cleared everyone.  |

| I’d be lying if I said I paid attention to anything in this episode besides Akane face card 😭 it deadass took me 20 mins to get over the OP oh my god, OP of the decade I’m afraid. Chanmia vocals are were insane, but the Akane and Ruby visuals are you fucking kidding me? The synchronised turn and leg cross from B Komachi also rewired my brain chemistry, they ate this shit up. How can you not stan Akane?? Also, don’t sleep on the ruby visuals either! Speaking of Ruby, this was her episode for the most part. The way she masterfully played Yoshizumi to get on the cosplay roster for next week was beautiful. Had his lame ass thinking she was into him lmao, she’s really learning the art of the lie that her mother mastered. AQUKANE CRUMBS. I said last week, but it feels like the anime has done a much better job of showing how things really are with them. Like how Akane is kind of deluding herself with this relationship. The fact she knows Aqua is there because he can’t be with Kana and she’s just ok with it is really sad. She deserves someone who loves and wants to be with her for her, not because they can’t be with someone else. Otherwise what’s the point? It’s not real. I’m so sorry that man’s your author because you deserve so much better. Her pouty faces in the OP and this episode are so cute and ofc her yandere moment there too, I love her sm and idk how anyone couldn’t stan her lol. She is the it girl. Can’t wait to see what ruby cooks up for next week. |

| Damn. Another banger OP and ED. ONK never disappoints when it comes to OP and ED. This new version of Ruby is creepy. She's ruthless. Aqua was cold and calculating. Ruby seems dumb which makes her more dangerous cause she can basically do anything without thinking too much about it. I feel bad for the assistant director guy. His boss is so shitty. Poor guy even has to rope in his little sister. Akane is a blessing. I'm glad she's not afraid to kill Aqua if he cheats on her lol. Great episode. Can't wait for the next one. |

| anyone getting 2nd hand stress from this episode. bruh not even the tokyo blade arc was this stressful to watch, yoshizumi having to account for his own boss' ineptitude and his own job, he couldn't even process his thoughts of ruby being nice to him further because his job was too much to handle. working overtime and getting his own sister involved. also im pretty sure these are AI-generated. I don't like how they're just embracing it to standard production.  |

So Saitou is alive and in the town.. and our Ruby-san has located him.. and even getting pointers from him on how to get big in industry.. not a happy reunion.. It never ceases to amaze me how much can be packed into an audiovisual clip of 1,5 minutes in terms of both information and beautiful visuals when creators give a damn. |

| I take back what I said the opening for this season is absolutely fire both visuals and vocal wise, way better than the first opening idk if its better then the second opening though. Im enjoying this season so far that shot of Aqua kissing Akane from back in season 1 really reminded me of how far all the characters have come from back then, especially Akane herself. I do not agree with her mentality though on how she's fully aware Aqua likes Kana more yet she's still willing to be content with being with him because he's treating her right. Like that kinda thought process is surly bound to backfire on her in the future. I gotta say though that Mimi girl is creepy af they gave her the most depressing looking eyes ever which is funny considering a lot of characters in this show have very vibrant looking eyes. |

| Ruby is moving along with progressing her career, just being a bit more calculating now. Akane so she knows how Aqua feels about Kana...but she's fine since he's being a great boyfriend and wants to turn their relationship that started as a lie to become real. She won't forgive him if he cheats though. What happened with Memcho doesn't count right? Nothing happened, he just pushed her down and then got comforted. Really feel bad for the AD guy dude is going through it literally doing every job. We got new OP and ED as well this ep. I like them, especially the visuals. Probably going to go over them later. The songs I think might need to grow on me a little though. Still both are bangers. They feel much darker compared to previous seasons ngl. Ok ngl literally just took me another listen or two. They're fire. Still not sure if I'll like them over the previous ones though. Visually definetly stunning. |

| Yeah the OP, song-wise and visuals-wise, is definitely darker than the previous two. Makes sense considering the way S2 ended and the dark turn Ruby’s character took. The ED was pretty good as well. Bruh Yoshizumi is gonna work himself to death at the rate he’s going lol. To say he needs a vacation is an understatement. |

Sick ED🔥 Will be my 2nd favourite ED for now. Turns out EDs are more consistent in this anime as this OP was disappointing. "I would have killed him if I had known him" Really disappointing to see how characters like Saito were just wasted huh. He could have used way better to give a better ending. Ah yes Akane he will surely never cheat and be killed sureeeeee..... Very cute lovey dovey scene there now 2-3 more episodes till that chapter.. Man it will be so satisfying😋 Akane fans needed to be put in their place too much Kana slander these days. But we are fully in Dark Ruby era now the way she subtly put her plan in motion this episode will explode next time. | Damn, the OP visuals went pretty hard, huh? The song itself was very nice, but the variety that the visuals switched up (Including the main girls in lovely bikinis!) was really well done. The new ED song also keeps the darker tone that the series has gone down as of late, which the visuals captured that feeling perfectly. Ruby isn't holding back in making her own progression on avenging her mother's death. She's playing this rather smart at the moment, which I do hope doesn't land her in trouble if things don't go her way. Speaking of things not going well, I do feel really bad for the AD, as he's stuck with such a crappy schedule meant for multiple people that's been dumped on his shoulders, which he gets constantly scolded at by a dick of a director who has had a poor reputation in the past. Not only has Ruby shown interest in helping the poor lad, but the same goes for his younger sister, who is a Vtuber and has experience in cosplay. She does look cute in that kitty hoodie, though! As for Akane, she's fully aware that Aqua is attracted to Kana, but she simply glad that Aqua and herself are a couple. She still does have that side of her that can make one scared, with how she showed her venomous aura when thinking about what if Aqua cheated on her. You'd better stay on guard, Aqua! XD |
| After what I thought last week to be the opening sequence we get treated to the actual one featuring each of the 4 main girls (and Miyako) in quite atire and posing as well as Aqua who's in the center of this investigation for Ai's killer despite seeminlgy getting out of it. Ruby's pushing for him to do though not directly yet but by being in his talk show and scaling up while playing a dumb character. While doing so she's wooing an assisstant who'se getting quite mistreated by an idiot director who's only thinking of blaming others for his incompetence. Now, regarding where this is gonna go on one hand it's the silent battle between Kanna and Akane for Aqua's affection (probably neither will win here), Mem-cho just vibing and Ruby pushing for the truth, probably unveiling Aqua's secret in the process. If there was ever proof Japan is the most terminally online nation on Earth it would Oshi no Ko being popular. Remove any dialogue related to internet/otaku culture and just see how 90% of the show just vanishes. |

| The OP went hard on the visual symbolism and the music was pretty solid. Good ED too. As a side note, for the rest of my days I will never understand why people prefer Kana over Akane. Looks, personality, brains, talent, there's not a single thing Kana has over Akane. She was even willing to kill for Aqua while Kana is still clueless over what's even happening! UGH! Anyways, Dark Ruby arc continues next week with this poor AD about to have a mental breakdown over all the crap he's putting up with and I don't think anyone can blame him. Given what we learned about the director in this episode I think things are going to come to a head over this last second change with the cosplay in the next episode or two. Should be entertaining! |

| I have to say, Oshi no Ko does a great job convincing people not to join the entertainment industry. I'm glad a series like this exists to show how dark and depressing it can be. I feel bad for AD Yoshizumi who's being forced to do everything, only for his boss to make life even more difficult for him by not getting permission. At least Ruby's supporting him, even though it's clearly for selfish reasons. And if this anime wasn't already covering all its bases, now we have a VTuber joining the fray in Mimi, who happens to be the AD's sister and also luckily enough, a cosplayer. She seems cute. I wonder how she'll play into Ruby's keikaku. Akane... I'm not surprised she knows Aqua loves Kana, though she's content with how things currently are since he's being a considerate boyfriend. Of course, if he cheats... we all know that'll end up. Even the usually stoic Aqua understood his place from her murderous aura. Ruby really is amazing at playing the ditzy "stupid" girl, though it helps that she was never the sharpest to begin with. She embellished a story of accidentally using detergent into nearly burning down their house while working it seamlessly into her character. That's some serious acting talent right there. Her coaching from Ichigo is definitely paying off. P.S. Test Me might not be as "hype" as the previous two OP songs, but I think it fits perfectly for this arc, and the visuals were stunning as always. I liked the ED too, Aqua and Ruby's dancing sequence was beautifully animated. |
