agreed but there are a few that have ruined themselves just as bad. promise neverland went from goat to throat. ninja kamui maybe the best 2 opening episodes in anime and I could go on. but you spoke facts. I had this as a 7/8 at one point and it ended up a 4/5 in my opinion. but a few of my friends still loved it which I dont understand but you cant judge others too much i guess everyone is different

Yeah I felt the exact same way good opening, good atmosphere, the mystery seemed promising and then the first death happen it was kinda goofy but I was still hoping it could be good but nope it just get worse from there. This anime was actually one of my first disappointment in anime since when i watched it back in 2014 I had already watched and liked other similar mystery thriller (Higurashi and Shiki) and from those first episodes I was really expecting it to be a 9+/10 like them

Started off pretty strong, good atmosphere and soundtrack AND plot. Kept getting worse till the ending which was hot garbage. The mangaka really didn't like their own series that they decided to have a BATTLE ROYALE in the end with school kids lmfao. Only edgy=peak, 13 year olds think the ending was good 😂😂
